Within 5 minutes of getting home from the day we took the brownie troop to the zoo this is what we were hit with. As soon as the media referred to this storm as a mega cyclone Reid checked out. Anything close to a tornado he envisions his toys being blown away to Texas. Good luck to you Texan children because he probably has something you want.
As thrilling as storms are they do some damage so we will be calling our insurance company in the morning. At least Emiline could enjoy some hunting for hail pellets in the meantime.

Bike & Trike
Bike & Trike day was stepped up at Reid's school this year because there were quite a few riders without training wheels. There was definitely more speed and if you are going to go fast you have got to look the part.
He was given quite a few traffic tickets. The best was the one that he got for lookin' too cool. Let's just say the ladies noticed.
Just six more days of preschool!

First Communion
First Communion for Emiline was this weekend and it was so sweet. For all of you non Catholics out there, get ready to feel like you need to convert.
Her dress was worn by her cousin, and the girl who did her flowers also did them for our wedding. Emiline made her rosary, and her prayer book was carried by my grandmother on her First Communion in 1934. I plan on making her sash into a pillow, but don't hold your breath. My project list is long these days.
After all the sweetness we headed off to the bricktown ballpark for bedlam baseball. Shockingly, no other First Communion families were there. Luckily my kids make the transition from church to ballpark in a snap.
